1. Who we are

StandardOS is operated by RMS Systems, a Danish company (CVR 34282668, VAT DK34282668), registered at Nyvangsvej 29, 5000 Odense C, Denmark. You can reach us at hello@getstandardos.com.

2. What StandardOS is

StandardOS is a subscription software service for building and operating a management system for ISO standards, starting with ISO/IEC 27001. It includes, among other things: a scoping wizard that drafts your Statement of Applicability, generated policy documents with version control and approvals, a risk register, a compliance calendar, evidence records, internal-audit and management-review records, nonconformity and corrective-action tracking, tamper-evident audit logging, and PDF exports of your records. AI-assisted drafts are always marked as drafts and require your confirmation before they become part of your records.

StandardOS is a software tool, and the done-for-you services in §8 are documents we prepare with it. StandardOS is not a certification body, a notified body or a law firm, and neither the software nor a service by itself guarantees certification or legal compliance: that depends on how your organization implements and operates its management system.

3. Business customers only

StandardOS is offered exclusively to businesses and other organizations acting in the course of their trade or profession, not to consumers. By creating an organization you confirm that you act on behalf of such an entity and have authority to bind it to these terms. Consumer-protection rules for distance contracts, including the 14-day consumer right of withdrawal, therefore do not apply. 4. Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you store, for keeping your credentials secure, and for the actions of users you invite to your organization. You must not use StandardOS to store content that is unlawful, to attempt to breach the security or integrity of the service, or to resell access without our written agreement.

5. Price, billing and taxes

StandardOS costs €249 per organization per month, or €2,490 per organization per year (billed in euro, excluding VAT), flat: every feature, unlimited users. VAT is added or reverse-charged according to applicable rules based on your billing country and VAT registration. Prices for optional future add-ons will always be shown before you buy them.

Subscriptions are sold and billed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd), acting as merchant of record. Paddle operates the checkout and handles payment processing, VAT and invoicing, and purchases are also subject to Paddle's buyer terms. Card details are entered directly with Paddle over encrypted (TLS) connections and are never transmitted to or stored on StandardOS servers; Paddle is a certified PCI DSS service provider.

Monthly subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Annual subscriptions run for a fixed term of twelve months from the date of purchase, are invoiced in full at the start of the term, and renew for a further twelve months unless cancelled before the renewal date.

6. Free trial

New organizations get a 7-day free trial with full functionality and no card required to start. We email you before the trial ends, including how to subscribe or walk away. If you don't subscribe, your workspace becomes read-only when the trial ends. Your data stays exportable at any time, and subscribing later reactivates it.

7. Cancellation and refunds

Monthly: cancel any time, in the app, effective at the end of the current month: no notice period, no cancellation fee, no sales call. Annual: you can cancel in the app at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the twelve-month term, and the fee for the term is not refunded in part. The statutory fourteen-day withdrawal right for consumers does not apply because StandardOS is sold to businesses only (§3); if you are a sole trader buying for your business, the same applies. Details, including our refund approach, are in the Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. Done-for-you services have their own refund rule, in §8.

8. Done-for-you services

Besides the software, StandardOS sells fixed-price done-for-you services. StandardOS prepares a defined set of documents for one machine, one product or one organization, as the offer's own page describes. They are delivered as files you may edit and keep. The price is fixed and paid in advance through Paddle, as for the subscription.

The work starts from an intake: a short form, one call and your documents. The working days stated on the offer run from the day we confirm the intake is complete. They are Monday to Friday and never fall from 24 December to 1 January. We confirm the delivery date in writing that day.

Full refund if we miss the date we confirmed, through our fault. Refund requests go to support@getstandardos.com, and an approved refund returns to the original payment method.

Not included: a legal opinion, a conformity assessment by a notified body, and certification. Notified bodies and certification bodies are independent of StandardOS: you choose, contract with and pay them directly, and StandardOS receives nothing from them.

Done-for-you services are sold to businesses only, so the consumer right of withdrawal does not apply. The offers, their prices and their working days are on the machinery technical file, CRA technical file and NIS2 registration pages.

9. Your data

Your records belong to you. You can export your full dataset in open formats at any time with one click, including during the trial and after cancellation (your workspace remains read-only and exportable for 90 days after a subscription ends, after which it is scheduled for deletion). We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, and under our Data Processing Agreement (Article 28 GDPR), which applies to every customer, forms part of these Terms, and is published in full rather than sent on request. All customer data is hosted in the European Union.

An organization that has ever had a free supplier profile keeps that profile on the free plan when its trial or subscription ends. Only what the subscription held is deleted.

10. Availability and support

We operate StandardOS with the same discipline we sell: monitored infrastructure, daily backups with automated alerting if one does not appear, and a weekly encrypted copy held outside our database provider. We target high availability but, like any software service, do not promise uninterrupted operation. Support is available at support@getstandardos.com and we answer within one business day.

11. Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the StandardOS software and content we provide (including policy templates). You receive a non-exclusive right to use them as part of the service, and the documents you generate and complete for your organization are yours to use freely, including after you leave.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability under this agreement is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing limits liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or anything that cannot be limited under Danish law.

13. Changes to the service or these terms

We improve StandardOS continuously and may change these terms. For material changes we give at least 30 days' notice by email; if you object, you may cancel before the change takes effect. The current version always lives at this address, with its date at the top.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Danish law, and the courts of Denmark have exclusive jurisdiction, though we'd much rather you email us first; almost everything can be solved that way.
