The CRA's 24-hour reporting duty has applied since 11 September 2026. Check whether it reaches you

Are you a critical entity yet?

Six answers, read by the same determination our portal runs. This Directive reaches a company only when its own state identifies it and notifies it under Article 6(3).

Are you a critical entity yet?

Six answers, read by the same determination the portal runs. Nothing you pick is sent or stored.

Which member state's law decides?

A directive binds the state. Article 26(1) had every state adopt its measures and apply them the day after, and the register shows which states have notified them.

Which category of the Annex do you fall in?

The Annex lists the categories of entity a state may identify as critical. Nothing outside them can be identified, so nothing outside them is reached by this Directive.

Has your state notified you that you are a critical entity?

Article 6(3), and the fact the whole Directive turns on. Until that notification arrives, a company in a listed category owes nothing under it. Answer that you do not know if you are unsure.

Do you provide the same or similar essential services in six or more member states?

Article 17(1)(b) is the test for European significance. The Commission decides that status, not your own state.

Questions about this page

What happens to the answers?

They stay in the page. The reading is computed in your browser, and nothing is sent or stored.

Do we need an account to read it?

No. The determination is free and open, with the articles named so you can check each one. An account is for running the system that keeps the answer current.

Is this legal advice?

No. It is the instrument's own scope rules read against your answers, from the catalogue our portal seeds.
